Based in the Boyana Palace in Sofia, the National Museum of History has more than 22,000 objects that accompany us on an interesting journey through the history of the Balkan country from prehistoric times to 1945.
The Thracian treasure of Rogozen in pure carved silver is one of the major attractions of the museum, together with the Thracian treasure of Panagyurishte, in solid gold. Medieval armor, Greek amphorae and an important collection of Bulgarian icons are some of the treasures to see in this museum.
